Anurag Bist
Dr. Bist brings entrepreneurial and leadership experience to Moxair. In 1999, Dr. Bist co-founded VxTel, a successful fabless semiconductor company providing silicon solutions for VoIP infrastructure. Dr. Bist led the worldwide firmware team at VxTel and helped grow the company from 5 people to over 160 in 2 years. In 2001, Intel acquired VxTel for $550 Million in cash. Dr. Bist has over 15 years of experience in various technical and management positions in companies such as Intel, Conexant Systems, Rockwell Semiconductor Systems and AT&T Bell Labs. He has managed large technical teams in multiple geographies and has successfully executed carrier-class software products delivery from inception to deployment. Dr. Bist has participated in various ITU-T standard committees and in particular contributed to the formation of H.263 video coding standard (precursor to H.264). He holds 14 US patents and has several other patents pending. Dr. Bist received the B. Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, the M.S. degree from Princeton University, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Hawaii, all in Electrical Engineering.

Ananth Sankar
VP Research and Development
Dr. Sankar leads technology development at Moxair. He is an internationally renowned expert in Statistical Pattern Recognition, and has made pioneering contributions to Speech Recognition. With over 15 years of experience, he has held several technical and management positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, SRI International, and Nuance Communications. As the Principal Investigator of two multi-million dollar DARPA projects, he has managed large groups of researchers and interfaced with Government agencies. He has also successfully led several projects, taking novel research ideas from inception to products. Dr. Sankar has taught several times at Stanford and UCLA, and has served on many IEEE management committees. He has published over 50 papers and holds 3 US patents. Dr. Sankar received the B. Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India, the M.S. degree from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, and the Ph.D. degree from Rutgers University, N.J., all in Electrical Engineering.
